Still chasing a “W”

I made my way to Ottawa, Canada for the second Canadian Tour Event of the year, earning a T32nd finish…..on one of the most difficult courses I’ve played this far. With a course that most definitely brought out any weakness (and magnified it), I learned a lot about my game and where I need even more improvement.

I took a week off to fine-tune some of those weaknesses then returned to Florida for the Black Bear Suncoast Event only to find myself leading for the pros after day 2 (in second place behind an amateur) with scores of 71, 72. ย l’ll admit, the little hurdle of winning my first professional event was on my mind a little too much. I struggled the final day and finished T-7th. I added another top-10 and a move to 14th on the Suncoast Tour money list. I found the positives of the week…..and into the next tournament and next OPPORTUNITY I go:)

Next up: Texas Women’s Open at Rolling Hills Golf Club in Dallas, TX! Come out to see some great golf:)
